The latest x-binge-read has reawakened the desire for this tattoo (which I have been carrying around in my phone for YEARS now). The X-men were after a magic crystal that defended itself by giving each of them their greatest desire. One by one, they fell away until Wolverine and Psylocke were the last ones standing. He was surprised, asked what she wanted. But she’d already got it. This newbie who’d been trying to find her place, who was still only able to fight with her mind and was still in her original curvy body (so much for young bamf to relate to!)… ripped off her skin to reveal a metal warrior goddess underneath.
I was supposed to get this one my calf when I graduated. But I still need to do some skin-ripping of my own and get the canvas prepped. TO THE GYM WITH ME!
See? Comic books are totally inspirational.
