thighhighdalish: I wanted to preserve as much of the original resolution and details as I could and show the shading on the face. The tabard became a vest, oh how I loathe those damn scales, the pauldrons were scaled down so they could fit under a heavy cloak.  Probably an Inverness cloak or a policeman’s cape.  Pretty sure his arms would stay warm with that kind of protection. He DID NOT want a hat, but definitely wanted some kind of eye-piece. And I liked the little pin I gave him.  That Grey Warden insignia? A PAIN IN MY ASS, but better when done with loose lines than actually trying to draw a griffin. There will be other characters to receive the Steampunk treatment.  Haven’t decided which ones yet, but a few candidates have been selected.
